The Department of History at H.D. Jain College, Ara is a vibrant center of historical learning and research, committed to nurturing critical understanding of the past. As part of H.D. Jain College, which was established in 1942 and is a constituent unit of Veer Kunwar Singh University, the department plays a key role in shaping the academic and intellectual fabric of the institution.
The department offers comprehensive Undergraduate (B.A.) and Postgraduate (M.A.) programmes in History.
